Important Notice from Leigh Insurance
Following State President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recent address and directive, drastic measures have been taken to mitigate the effects of COVID-19. We have had to move swiftly to set in place measures to protect our staff and still provide business continuity.
Whilst there may be some challenges, our offices will remain open and operational.
Rest assured all business will continue as normal and will be attended to as timeously as possible.
As the outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared a Global Pandemic by the World Health Organisation, please note insurance cover will exclude any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly as a result of this. Kindly note that insurance covers loss or damage following an insured peril.
It is a General exception with most Insurers to exclude loss or damage that happens over a period of time or that is not sudden and unforeseen.
We appreciate that some of the action taken may be disruptive and difficult but the safety, wellbeing and health of our employees, clients, partners, community and Country is also priority to us.
We urge you to be safe by being aware of the situation and the necessary precautions that have been suggested by Government.
We will keep you informed and updated if the situation in our office changes.
